Principle of operation
The Cortex 3MP ANPR Camera has the ability to record and search for number plates in day and night applications. Automatic Number-Plate Recognition (ANPR) is a technology that uses optical character recognition to read vehicle registration plates, creating vehicle location data. This would be the ideal camera for petrol stations and areas with barrier gate automation as you will be able to manage time attendance, open and close barriers, and manage vehicles that are on site.
